About the book

Would you like to find an answer to the question:

“What kind of process is needed to lead us to the edge of winning, where we can just give in to action and let winning happen for us?”

We, Collin Hansen and I did. Therefore we started a process to find the answer. Our journey provided many answers and learning points, including a new process model for action and learning and a new theory of learning emphasizing the development of performance, which we’d like to share with you with the help of this book.

Key questions and topics:

  • What is winning and how to encode it into the action-learning process and into the performance?
  • What are the vital skills and mental virtues to create successful action and learning?
  • How to create results that you want, and how to reach new levels of skill through transition?
  • How to mobilize your energy and get attuned into a mood that matches with the expectations of the peak-performance or other task at hand?
  • The book presents a new framework for successful learning. Cristina’s personal experiences as a learner of singing offer practical examples to concretize the process. The book contains also “Conversations with a coach” which are “real-life” discussions with the coach and co-writer of the book, pianist Mr. Collin Hansen.
  • The book is a result of a research including email inquiry, theme discussions, singer’s introspective study with a coach and relevant back-ground material. The DNA-doublehelix is used as a metaphor for a winning action-learning process.
